New Castle...Nancy Ann (Morrow) Sherman, 80 longtime resident of New Castle, passed away Tuesday morning at her home in New Castle after an extended illness.She was born in Wabash, Indiana, October 1, 1927, the daughter of Howard and Lenore (Gurtner) Morrow.She graduated from Ball State Teachers College in 1949 with a BS in Nursing.She was a member of Chapter AD, PEO and served as it's president.She was a member of the Agenda Club and Tri Kappa and a lifetime member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in New Castle, where she taught Sunday School and worked with the Senior High Youth Group for 10 years.Survivors include her Husband: Dr. Paul Max Sherman of New Castle, daughters: Stacey Scott (Jan) of Ellicott City, MD, Leslie Mullis (Mike) of Bedford, IN, and Paula Sue (Ralph ""Chip"") Jones of Laporte, IN, grandchildren: David Scott (Angela) of Portland, OR, Paul Matthew Scott of Brooklyn, NY, Brady Katherine Jones (Kevin Rasp) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Kelly Ann Jones of Charlotte, NC, Amy Charlotte Jones of Laporte, IN and Nancy Jane Landreth of Avon, IN, great grandchildren: Max, Drew and Lauren Scott of Portland, OR, stepgrandchildren: Brady and Casey Mullis of Bedford, IN and Aimee and Mike Peddle of Grand Rapids, MI, step great grandchildren: Uly, Jasper, and Hiram Mullis of Bedford and Tyler and Sydney Peddle of Grand Rapids, MI.Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 5th at the First Christian Church in New Castle at 3:00 PM with Rev. Marty Ballard and Rev.
