Middletown...Nancy Jo Sanders, 71, resident of Middletown, passed away Friday at IU Health/Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
She was born in New Castle, Indiana, May 1, 1949, the daughter of Joe and Eva (Jean) Smith Sanders.
She worked at Warner Press for 27 years in Anderson and EPI printing for 20 years in Indianapolis.
She was a 1967 graduate of Middletown High School and was an Indiana Business College graduate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Lisa Sanders and Melinda Painter, brothers,, George and Joe Sanders, and a niece, Terri Michelle Richardson.
Survivors are one sister, Melanie Douglass (Jay Scott Douglass) of Muncie, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
CDC restrictions will be in place and social distancing and face coverings are requested for the safety of the family and those in attendance.
Friends may call from noon until the time of the services on Saturday.
Memorials may be made to the Jefferson Township Fire Department and the Middletown EMS.
