Middletown...Nancy Ann Swain Myers, 84, resident of Middletown, passed away June 9, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor in Middletown.She was born in Anderson, September 21, 1926 the daughter of Zell and Maud Mead Swain.She was a 1944 graduate of Middletown High School and Ball State School of Practical Nursing.She also attended Purdue University.She was DON for Middletown Nursing Home and Maple Village Nursing Home, and worked for Advantage Healthcare as well as St. Johns and Ball Memorial Hospitals.She was a member of Psi Iota Xi and the Sixth Street Christian Church and was a lontime season ticketholder with her husband for Cossack and Shenandoah games.Survivors include her husband of 66 years: Charles of Middletown, children: Linda (Jon) Dietrich, Celia (Greg) Ricker and Steve (Teena) Myers all of Middletown, grandchildren: Alan (Beth) Fields of Fishers, Mark (Alice) Dietrich of Florida, Lance (Amy) Hale of Middletown, Corey (Amanda) Hale of Fishers, Marci (Tony) New of Terre Haute, Alisha (Alan) New of Middletown, Lindsey (Sam) Lowder of Middletown and Laura Myers of Ellicot, MD, great grandchildren: Chandler and Halex Hale, Alex and Jacob Fields, Emily and Carly New, Gage and Charlie New, Cierra and Sophie Hale, Blayke, Wyatt and Gabe Lowder and Nick Lofrmento.Special Thanks to the staff at Millers Merry Manor for their wonderful care.Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 4:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with REv.
