Middletown...Myrtle Faye (Sprong) Wilson, 92, resident of Middletown and former resident of Webster City, Iowa, passed away early Wednesday morning at the residence of her granddaughter.She was born in West Bend, Iowa, September 21, 1912, the daughter of Frank and Ica Dean Hollet Sprong.She had worked for many years as a Home Healthcare provider.She had attended the United Methodist church when living in Iowa.Survivors include Children: Verna (Ray) Peckinpaugh of Middletown, Shirley Schmidt of Ft. Dodge, IA, Arlene Beightol of Webster City, IA, Donald Wirtjes of Webster City, Carl Clabaugh of Webster City, Rosemary (Hiro) Tanaka of St. Louis, MO and George (Marcy) Wirtjes of Pennsylvania, 1 brother: Gerald Sprong of Branson, MO, over 50 grandchildren and over 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Archie Wilson, 2 children, 10 brothers and sisters.Service have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with no public services or viewing.Burial will follow at a later date in Graceland Cemetery in Webster City, Iowa.Online Guestbook is available at: www.ballardandsons.com
