Manchester, TN...Myron J. Ratliff, 85, former Middletown area resident, died July 10, 2004 at the Medical Center of Manchester in Manchester, TN.He was a former bus driver for the Former Northwestern School Corp. (Shenandoah) and was a member of the First Baptist church of Manchester. He was a WW 2 veteran serving as a Sergeant in the US Air Force.He was preceded in death by his parents: Morris and Clara Elliott Ratliff.Survivors include: wife, E. Joan Ratliff of Manchester, 2 sons: David of Columbia, SC and Jim of Phoenix, AZ, 1 sister: Mildred Preston of Sebring, FL, 1 granddaughter: Stefanie Ratliff of Columbia, SC and grandsons: Marc and Michael Ratliff of Phoenix, AX.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Elm Ridge Mausoleum in Muncie.Friends may call at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, on Wednesday from noon until 2:00 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the national Diabetes Foundation.Online Guestbook available at: www.ballardandsons.com
