Daleville...Mitzi (Dawson) McMullen, 44, resident of Daleville for the past eleven years, died early Friday morning at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness.She was born in New Castle, Indiana on February 14, 1966 and was the daughter of Merville and Wanda Dawson.She was employed at Star Financial and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School.Mitzi was very involved with the activities of her children, whether it was attending volleyball games, coaching gymnastics at Daleville, being a ""Cheer Mom"", a leader in the Girl Scouts, or a member of the local PTO at Daleville Schools.Survivors include: husband; Jeff, two daughters: Chelsea and Kaitlin, one son: Cody, two girls she considered her daughters: Abby Atwell and Jayda Morris, her mother: Wanda Keller of Indianapolis, one sister: Anita (Dawson) Routh, husband Danny of Muncie, and 1 brother: Mark Dawson, wife Chris of Ogden, Utah.Nieces and nephews: Allison, Rachel and Richard Routh, as well as Steven Nichol and Esmeralda Dawson.She was preceded in death by her father: Merville, a nephew: Mark Dawson and grandparents: Joseph and Sylvia Dawson and Fayette and Dora Gossage.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Tabor Baptist Church (10500 S. CR 300 W.) in Delaware County, with Rev.
