Middletown...Mildred Jean""Bibs"" (Huntzinger) Manis, 92, resident of Middletown, passed away Monday morning at St. Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson.She was born in Anderson, October 4, 1922, the daughter of Lowell and Ruth Ann Teeter Huntzinger, but loved living in Fishersburg for many years before moving to Middletown.She was a 1940 graduate of Anderson High School and worked as a bank teller at Henry County Savings and Loan as well as Farmers State Bank both in Middletown.She was a member of the Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority for 30 years, the Bridge Club and was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church.She had been preceded in death by her husband: Ivan, 2 brothers; Lowell Dean and Delbert Huntzinger.Survivors include her children: Joyce Ann Hanson, (Larry W.) of Middletown, Joe Dee Manis (Jill) of New Castle, and Jerry Lee Manis (Beverly of Middletown, grandchildren: Stacey Hanson of Middletown, Jay Manis of Anderson, Jodi Hamm (David) of Middletown, Julie Hohlt (William) of Carmel, Janis Walker (Bill) of Pegram, TN, Angie Beck (Chris) of Middletown and Dale Manis (Chery) of Decatur, 15 grandchildren, caregivers: Lou Ann Parmer and Ashley Duvall.A celebration of her life will be held on Friday at 2:00 at Ballard & Sons, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery.
