Anderson...Mila May Ooten, 83, resident of Anderson, passed away Monday at Northview Community Care in Anderson. She was born in Perkinsville, November 16, 1934, the daughter of Laurel L Foland and Eva Basicker Foland.She attended Perkinsville Schools and was a housewife most of her life..She was a member of the Perkinsville Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Nondus Montgomery, son-in-law: Eldon Daughhetee, husband: Hayden E. Ooten, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.She was a devoted Christian, wonderful mother, housewife and dedicated worker.Survivors are 2 daughters: Dorothy M. Daughhetee of Anderson and Georgia Ann Ooten of Florida, 3 sons: Hayden Ooten (Kim) of Cadiz, Tex Ooten (Donna) of Middletown and Larry Ooten (Stephanie) of Hawthorn, Fl, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.Services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Joshua Lueves officiating.
