Michael Steven Lee, 78, of Muncie passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. He was on born September 20, 1944 in Muncie, a son to the late George Lee and Helen (Barnes) Conner.
Michael retired from Borg Warner after 30 years of employment. He loved to go fishing and camping. Michael enjoyed driving and traveling to many different places. Most of all, he loved his grand kids and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, step father, Melvin Conner; Brothers, Roger Lee and Larry Lee.
Michael is survived by his wife, Hazel; sons, Andy (Allison) Lee of Yorktown, Jeff (Tara) of Leeds, Alabama and Steve (Fiancé Tanya) Lee of Yorktown; grandchildren, Abbie, Mollie, Madison, Cammie Lee of Yorktown, Connor Lee of Moundville, Alabama, Shannon Bray of New Castle; 2 great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Jesika and Rosie from Care Hospice for their love and dedication in the care of Mike and his family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Carl Lamb officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown.
