Middletown....Michael Joe Hawk, 55, resident of Middletown passed away early Wednesday morning at Community Hospital in Anderson, after an extended illness.He was born in Anderson, July 21, 1947, and had lived in Anderson and Chesterfield before moving to Middletown.He was an employee of the Indiana Department of Revenue for over 33 years.He attended the First Baptist Church of Middletown.Survivors include his wife of 30 years: Lona Gaye Comer Hawk of Middletown, 1 daughter: Amy Hawk of Middletown, grandchildren: Zachary and Kara Fadely of Middletown and 1 brother: Steven (Carol) Schuyler of Chesterfield, 1 sister: Rosemary (Dave) Young of Anderson, 1 niece: Lori Schuyler of Chesterfield and 1 nephew: Steven Jones of Anderson, several cousins and extended family.He was preceded in death by his mother: Opal Schuyler and Stepfather: Kenneth Schuyler.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Pastor Albert C.
