Daleville....Michael Johnathan Baas, 14, resident of Daleville, died August 7, 2017 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. He was born in Marion, February 3, 2003, the son of Johnathan H. and Kathy Magby Baas. He was a 7th grade student at Daleville Schools. He was an honors student and loved hunting, fishing, and was extremely artistic. He had a wonderful rapport with animals.Beside his parents he is survived by 3 brothers: Jesse, Gabriel and Samuel, 3 sisters: Lashay (Jon) Kuhn, Hannah and Abigail, paternal grandmother: Carol Baas of Marion, maternal grandparents: Glenda (Wayne) Conway of Montana and Carlos (Sharon) Magby of Oklahoma, several Uncles and Aunts, cousins and nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Benjamin Baas and 1 aunt: Rydonna Baas.A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Minister Cal Culpepper officiating.Burial will follow at Saunders Cemetery, Daleville.Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-9 PM.Online guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Michael with family and friends.In lieu of flowers the family has asked to assist them with funeral expenses through the funeral home.
