Michael Stephen Abshire, 54 of Middletown passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1970 a son to Carol (Branham) Benge of Kokomo and the late Stephen Abshire.
Mike was a machinist by trade, he also worked as an auto mechanic. He coached basketball, football and baseball. Mike was a weightlifter and belonged to the Everetts Gym in Middletown. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by 2 sons, Michael and Mason Abshire of Middletown; daughter, Kyah Ramsey of Middletown; grandchildren, Gabriel, Ezekiel, Willow Abshire and Nova Quinn; sisters, Jennifer Goins of Westfield, Carrie Braden of Middletown; brother, Daniel Abshire of Middletown; mother, Carol (Branham) Benge of Kokomo; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael Stephen Abshire Memorial Fund by Clicking Here .
