Farmland....Meredith Gene Henderson, 78, resident of Farmland, passed away Saturday at Heritage Healthcare in New Castle.He was born in Muncie, March 2, 1935, the son of Allen and Catherine Henderson.He was a veteran of US Army serving in Germany and worked for Marsh as a meat cutter for over 42 years.He lived in Farmland since 1977 and was a 56 year member of the Masonic Lodge #744 of Muncie where he served as Past Master.He also belonged to the York Rite and the Murat Shrine of Indianapolis.Survivors are 2 sons: Bud (Jeanie) Henderson of Anderson, SC and Mark (Joy) Henderson of Mooreland, IN and 1 daughter: Rosa (Jason) Chamness of Indianapolis, 5 grandchildren and 1 brother: Keith (Sylvia) Henderson of Leesburg, IN.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 PM with Masonic Services held at 8:00 PM.Memorials may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home or the Shriners Hospitals.Online Guestbook at:
