Anderson....Melissa G. Ellis, 56, resident of Middletown and Anderson, passed into the arms of Jesus on July 21, 2017 at her sister's home in Ingalls.She was born in Elwood at Mercy Hospital, August 27, 1960, the daughter of George and Virginia Kirby.She graduated from Shenandoah High School and studied message therapy in Alexandria. She was a beautician for 27 years.She loved flowers, bird watching and most of all her family.Melissa is survived by her husband: William Ellis, son: Shawn Helsley (Brittany), grandchildren: Daylyn, Aidon, Isabella, Owen and Rylynn, sister: Georgia Parker, brothers: Michael Kirby and Brian (Debbie) Kirby, sister in law: Anna Kirby and special friend: Ginger White and Steve and Pam Helsley.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother: Stephen Kirby and her dog: Pooka.A Celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 south 5th, Middletown With Rev.
