Yorktown...Max Eugene Jordan, 77, resident of Yorktown, passed away June 15, 2007 in Renaissance Healthcare Center in Muncie.He was born in Elwood, IN, August 1, 1929 the son of William and Laverne Parker Jordan.He had worked in sales at Miller Huggins in Anderson for 15 years.He graduated from Anderson High School and was a US Army Medic Veteran.He was employed at Old National Bank of Muncie and was a member of the Elks of Dunkirk, Madison County Shrine Club, Elwood F & AM, Past President of the Rotary Club of Elwood, Murat Shrine of Indianapolis, Normal City United Methodist Church and Legion of Honor of the Murate Temple of Indianapolis.Survivors are his wife: Evelyn (Carter)Jordan of Yorktown, daughter: Terry Fadely (John) of Bonita Springs, FL, stepbrothers: Bobby Gene Henderson (Myrna) of Pierston, IN, stepsisters: Eline Williams of Illinois and Neva Goforth of Elwood, brother-in-law: Walter Mills of Daleville, nephew: Mitchel Mills of Indianapolis, grandchildren: Nancy (Shelly) Fadely of Anderson, Traci Fadely of Chesterfield, Rob Fadely of South Bend, IN and Katina Burdsall of Elwood and Richard Rucker (Tammy) of Anderson, several other nieces and nephews and several great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather: Glen Henderson, 1 son: Gerald Jordan, brother Robert Jordan, sister-in-law: Lois Mills.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St., Daleville with Rev. Don Miller officiating.Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie.Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 PM with Masonic services held at 7:00 PM.Memorial contribution may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Cincinnati, Ohio.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
