Daleville....Max Heiss, 80, resident of Daleville, passed away Wednesday at IU Health, Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.He was born in Farmland, Indiana, September 20, 1933, the son of Maurice and Mabel Penery Heiss. He was a 1952 graduate of Portland High School and retired from the City of Anderson after 20 years of service.He was a veteran of the US Navy serving on the Carrier Bonhomme Richard and was a member of the American Legion of Chesterfield,Survivors include his wife: Janice (Feller) of Daleville.He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.A Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 20 at 11:30 am at Ballard & Sons, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor J.
