Matthew Carper, 55, of Pendleton passed away on Saturday March 2, 2024. He was born on August 3, 1968, in Muncie to Michael Dean and Linda (Keesling) Carper Sr.
He was a 1986 graduate of Shenandoah High School. In school Matthew was a runner and played basketball. He enjoyed watching sports, going fishing and his animals. Matthew loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Linda Carper; brothers, Micheal (Melissa) Carper and Phillip Carper; 3 nieces and 2 nephews; along with many cousins and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Dean Carper Sr.
A memorial service for Matthew will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown.
