Maryanne Shinn

January 19, 1943 — December 9, 2020

Yorktown....MaryAnne (White) Shinn, 77, resident of Yorktown, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Muncie, January 19, 1943, the daughter of Mahlon White and Eleanor Knapp Jasienski..

She was a 1961 graduate of Daleville High School and worked in the business department of IU Health for 30 years.

She was a member of the IU/Ball Memorial Auxiliary and had attended St. Lawrence, St. Mary's and The Gathering churches throughout her life.

She loved  indoor skydiving, Scuba Diving, being Mrs. Claus and Tubing with the kids. There was not anything she wouldn't try.

Survivors are her children: Gary Dean Richman (Crystal) of Merrimack, NH, Donita Moore (Dicky) of Muncie, Randy Richman (Bonita) of Portland Oregon, Brenda Olivier (Joe) of San Diego, CA, Jay Shinn (Sherry) of Mississippi and Jason Shinn of Farmland, 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Randy White (Tina) of Horse Heads, NY and Gene White (JoAnne) of York PA, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Shinn, her mother and father and1 brother, Victor Jasienski.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street Daleville.  Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery in Yorktown.

Friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 3-7 PM.

CDC and state Covid -19 mandates that only 50 people may be within the funeral home at one time.  Masks, social distancing and hand sanitation is required!

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
