Mary Doane Templeton

Middletown...Mary Doane Templeton, 81, lifetime resident of Middletown, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2003. at St. John's Medical Center in Anderson, after an extended illness.She was born July 9, 1922 in Middletown, the daughter of Frederick and Isophine Riley Pierce.She had worked at Delco Remy in years past and was the Vice President of Templeton and Son Music and Vending for the past 25 years. She was a very important part of the 56 years old family business.She was preceded in death by her husband Murray Templeton; Sisters: Helen and Martha and brothers; Fred and Bill.She leaves to cherish her memory: 1 son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Sharon, Grandchildren: Chanda, Renessa, Marty and James, Great grandchildren: Hayley, Jakolb, Jayden and Ryan, a sister-in-law: Francis and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves a host of friends and especially her close group of lady friends who called themselves the ""Golden Girls"".Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev.
