Mary Jo Nichols

Middletown...Mary Jo Nichols (Behymer) 82, resident of Miller's Merry Manor, passed away at the nursing home after an extended illness.She was born in Anderson, October 1, 1923, the daughter of Arvin and Mary Robinson Behymer.She retired from Delco Remy in Anderson in 1979 after 30 years.She was a 1941 graduate of Anderson High School.She attended Unity Church of Anderson and was an avid bowler.Survivors include two sons: Lonnie Nichols of Phoenix, AZ and David (Kathie) Nichols of Middletown, 6 grandchildren: Jenny (Jim) York of Middletown and Julie (Brandon) Coers of Middletown, Anitra Nichols of San Diego, Teresa Nichols of Ottawa, IL and Faith Nichols of San Diego and Jennifer Hall of Morris, IL, 7 great grandchildren: Zachary, Nicholas, Rachel, Evan, Brock, Kade, Charles, and Katelyn, nieces: Debbie Christ, Roxanne Rees, Terena Dodd all of Anderson and Timothy Jarvis.There will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comArrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown.
