Noblesville...Mary Alice (Farmer) Moreland, age 95, a resident of Noblesville and former Middletown, passed away on Thursday May 16 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.She was born in Mechanicsburg, Indiana on April 14, 1918 and was the daughter of Frank and Alta (Pate) Farmer. She was a graduate of Middletown High School in 1937.She was a homemaker, and Supervisor of the cafeteria at Middletown High School. She a fifty year member of the Order of the Eastern Star 110 of Middletown, a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and member of the Past Matrons Club. She was a member of the Middletown United Methodist Church for over fifty years. She was an active member of the (W.S.C.S) Women's Club, the ""Thimble Club, and the Bridge Club. She attended the First Methodist Church of Noblesville, and supported the Middletown Lions Club. She was a member of the Suburban Home Economics Club in Middletown and,and the Library Club of Middletown, and a Season Ticket Holder of Shenandoah Raider Basketball.She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Carl, three sisters; Mamie Farmer Stevens, Amy Farmer, and Marjory Farmer Gills. Two brothers; Woodrow Farmer, and George I. Farmer. Survivors include one daughter; Karla Fridley (Jeff) of Noblesville and one son John H. Moreland (Lisa) of Middletown.One sister Cleo Fern Cottingham of Anderson, and a brother Robert Farmer (Twila) of Sebring, Fla.Grandchildren are Constance McClure of Noblesville, Dr. DeLayne (Kevin) Lefevre of Westfield, Amanda (Stacey) Ellingwood of Alexandria, Dylan (Brooke) Lohrey of Middletown, Katie (Andy) Brunner of Middletown and Sarah Sims (fiancAC. Brad Orr). Great Grandchildren are Kevin McClure, Olivia Lefevre, Alexander Lefevre, Hailey Lohrey, Huston Ellingwood, Mackenzee Lohrey, Hunder Lohrey, Mason Brunner, Madalynn Brunner and Addison Lohrey. Severeal Nieces and Nephews.Visitation hours will be from 3 until 7 on Tuesday at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Eastern Star services will begin at 6 P.M. Funeral services will immediately follow with Marty Ballard officiating.
