Mary Lucille Merritt

Middletown...Mary Lucille (Minnick) Merritt, 88, resident of Middletown, passed away Wednesday morning at Rawlins House convalescent Center in Pendleton.She was born in Middletown, December 31, 1919, the daughter of Frank and Birdetta Canady Minnick.She attended Middletown High School and retired from Delco Remy in Anderson in 1982 after 30 years in production.Survivors include 1 son and daughter in law: Gary and Lana Merritt of Muncie and 1 daughter and son in law: Linda and Jerry Thompson of Pendleton, 3 grandsons: Jerry B. (Debbie) Thompson of Anderson, Gregory (Brinda) Thompson of Middletown, and Timothy (Denise) Thompson of Fishers, several great and 1 great great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Walter ""Tobe"" Merritt, 3 brothers: Raymond, Harold, and Gene and 2 sisters: Roma Pierson and Doris Graddy.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
