Mary Jo Hall, 76, of Daleville, IN passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born on March 10, 1948 a daughter to the late John and Mary Maxine (Gwinn) DeLashmit.
Mary Jo was a 1966 graduate of Noblesville High School. She was the organizer of the family and enjoyed gardening and helping and serving others. Mary Jo had been a beacon of light in the communities of Delaware, Madison, and Hamilton Counties all of her life. She worked at AAA, Destinations Unlimited, had her own travel agency, Mary Jo’s Travel and served her community at Cracker Barrel in Anderson, Indiana. She was a member of Faith Church in Anderson and had the gifts of Helps and Hospitality and loved the Lord as her personal Savior.
She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Hall; daughters, Brandi J. Carlson of Daleville, Bobbie Jo (Matthew) Franson of Indianapolis; stepson, Thomas Irvin (Katie) Hall of Crothersville; sister, Patricia Ann (Howard) Scroggins of Huron, OH; grandchildren, Zachary Laing of Mesa, AZ, Clayton Rogers and Cameron Rogers of Daleville.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Richard Lee DeLashmit; stepson, Aaron Christopher Hall.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11 A.M. at the Daleville American Legion, with Pastor Carl Lamb officiating. There will be a celebration of life following the service. Memorial contributions can be made out to Faith Church Assembly of God, 2817 E 53 Street Anderson, IN 46013. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville.
