Markleville....Mary Qualls Hodson, 91, resident of Markleville, passed away April 8, 2018 at St Vincent's Regional Hospital in Anderson. She was born in Arkansas, June 4, 1926, the daughter of James and Gertrude Gobel Qualls. She was a graduate of Cape Gerardo, MO High School and retired from General Motors in Anderson after 30 years of service. She was a member of the South Meridian Church of God and enjoyed painting, quilting, piano playing, cooking and teaching Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister: Evelyn and a nephew. Survivors are her husband: Ralph of Markleville, 2 daughters: Cheryl Lynn Graham (James) of Charlestown, Indiana and Teresa Bell (George) of Morristown, IN, 1 brother: Kenneth Qualls (Joyce) of Anderson, 2 sisters: Verleen Rich of Westfield and Ruth Brown of Phoenix, AZ, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown. Burial will follow at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
