Mary Francis Haynes

Chesterfield....Mary Francis (Harris) Haynes, 71, resident of Chesterfield, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday morning.She was born in Clarksville, VA, March 23, 1945, the daughter of Henry H. and Gladys C. Carter Harris.She was a graduate of Blue Stone Sr. High School and worked for many years at Haynes Racing Stables in Alexandria.She had lived in Chesterfield for three years moving from Crete, Illinois.She was preceded in death by her husband: Walter in 2013.Survivors are her children: Brenda Haynes Pulliam of Chesterfield and Walter Haynes, Jr. (Sara) of Alexandria, 4 grandchildren: Tiffany Hendricks (Chris), Nikkomi Moorefield, Amber Haynes and Lili Haynes, 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Dale and Billy Harris and 1 sister: Dorothy Ann Tharpe (J.D.), several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of her life will take place at a later date.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Mary with her family.
