Daleville....Mary Louise (Schlegel) Cannon, 95, lifelong resident of Daleville area, passed away Wednesday at Millers Merry manor in Chesterfield.She was born in Delaware County, October 27, 1916, the daughter of Arthur and Blanche Bosh Schlegel.She loved gardening, sewing, needlework and making jewelry.She enjoyed golfing and crafting, as well as playing the organ but most of all enjoyed her family.She was a member of Salem Township Womens Club, Killbuck Golf League, Tri County Golf Club, the Madison County Shrine Ladies Club and attended the EUB and Trinity Churches in Daleville.She was also a member of the Home Economics Club of Daleville.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Fred Cannon, stepmother: Carrie Schlegel, 1/2 brother Jim Schlegel, step brother: Wilburn Davis.Survivors are three daughter: Ann Talley (Jerry) and Phyllis Stevenson (Jack) of Daleville and Thelma Hatton (Don) of Phoenix, AZ, Sisters in lawa: Barbara Schlegel of Zionsville and Irma Cannon of Marion, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street Daleville with Rev. Marty Ballard of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Mausoleum in Muncie.Friends may call on Saturday from 11 until the time of the services at the funeral home.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
