Mary Bernice Barnum

March 10, 1930 — June 2, 2018

Daleville..Mary Bernice (Pinney) Barnum, 88, resident of Daleville,  went home to be with the Lord, June 2, 2018 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus in Anderson.

She was born March 10, 1930 in Union City, Ohio, the daughter of Mary L (Shields) and Robert Pinney.  she was a graduate (1948) of Eastside High School of Union city.

She was a homemaker and loved to cook and bake and always willing to give of her time, talent and treasure.

She was preceded in death by her Jr. High School Sweetheart and husband: Charles Riley Barnum whom she had been married to for 68 years.

She was a member of Trinity Community church.

Survivors include her children: Charles Bruce (Kay L.) Barnum of Anderson, Barry Lee Barnum of Odessa, TX, and Cheryl Lyn Warthman (Dr. Jerry) of Middletown, 1 grandson: Jeffrey Wayne (Audria) of Venice, FL, sister in law: Lila (Fritz) Pinney, special nieces: Crystal Dodd, special nephews: Michael E. Pinney and Jay Neal Barnum, special friends: Joann Lovett, Betty Burrell, Larry and Novella Woods and her special Aide: Tina Terry.

Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut Street, Daleville with Pastor Jeff Williams officiating.

Burial will follow on Friday at 1:00 PM at Greenville Cemetery in Greenville Ohio.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until the time of the service. .Memorials may be made to the Trinity Community church.
