Mary Kathryn Baker

Middletown...Mary Kathryn Baker, 87, resident of Middletown and former resident of Sulphur Springs, died Tuesday afternoon at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown.She was born in Clinton County, Indiana, February 13, 1916 the daughter of Earl and Nell Bozell Floyd.She had retired from Brooks Foods in Mt. Summit in 1978 where she had been a payroll clerk for 26 years.She was a member of the Mt Summit Christian Church.Survivors are: 1 brother; Robert Floyd of Anderson, and 1 sister; Betty Hobbs of Anderson, many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Leroy Floyd and Darrell Floyd and 3 sisters: Anna MacNeille, Marie Ricketts and Dorothy Unger and her husband Shelvie Baker in 1997.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, Indiana.
