New Castle...Mary Edith Ayres, resident of Hickory Creek Nursing Care, passed away October 25, 2011, after an extended illness.She had been a resident of Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School and Ball State University.She was a member of the Sixth Street Christian Church of Middletown and had worked at Guide Lamp in Anderson and also at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Muncie.Survivors are 1 son: Ronald of LaPorte, Indiana and 1 daughter Judith E.
