Mary Alice Anderson

Mary (Moore) Anderson, 91 a resident of Daleville passed away at her home on December 13, 2021. She was born November 18, 1930 in Ladoga, Indiana the daughter of Leon and Mary Anna (Long) Moore.
She graduated from Daleville High School in 1949. She married her first husband after 18 years but had four wonderful children. She worked at several jobs but her favorite job was working at the Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis where she was a secretary, switchboard operator and mail clerk.
After retiring, she lived in Daleville with her husband Donald. She gave her life to Jesus at a Christian Church revival and was baptized the following Sunday by Pastor Stout.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Donald, son; Stephen Arthur Gindhart, Gregory Gindhart and a daughter; Deborah Gindhart.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery Gindhart of Daleville, grandchildren; Michele Gindhart of Anderson, Melissa "Lissy" Newman (James) of West Jefferson, Ohio, Jeff (Chelsea) Gindhart of Terre Haute, Ashley Gindhart of Terre Haute, and Tim (Rebekah) Reynolds of Arcadia; 4 great grandchildren, Jamie Newman, Zane Newman, Adeline Reynolds and Ford Louis Gindhart.
Services will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Daleville with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery in Muncie. Friends may call from 11:00 until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice at 3415 West Fox Ridge Lane, Muncie, Indiana 47304.
