Marion....Marvin Douglas Kemerly, 62, resident of Marion, passed away February 18, 2016 at Marion General Hospital.He was born in Greenfield, January 13, 1954, the son of Marvin P. and Marjorie Orr Kemerly.He was a graduate of Greenfield Central High School and retired from General Motors in 2003 after 30 years of service.He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Lynne (Smith), sister: Pam Crossley and 1 brother: Roger Kemerly.He is survived by his wife: Laura of Marion, children: Jerry Smith of Greenfield, Angela Kemerly of Florida, Amanda (Kirk) Ritenour of Anderson, Autumn Kemmerly of Anderson and Jessica Rayford of Anderson, stepsons: Samuel Coffin, Nicholas Flynn, Edward Flynn and Zach Flynn, step daughters: Shawna Miller, Christina Moody and Andrea Flynn, several grand and great grandchildren and step grandchildren, brothers: Charles of Indianapolis, George and Jeff of Anderson, 2 sisters: Diane (Homer) McMahan of Sparta, TN and Kathy Crum of Edgewood IN, several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of his life will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
