Martha Ann Minnick
June 2, 1934 — August 3, 2022
Martha Ann (Lamb) Minnick, 88, resident of Middletown, passed away August 3, 2022 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born in Henry County, June 2, 1934 the daughter of Ward E. and Ida Alice Brown Lamb.
Martha was a graduate of Middletown high School and served for many years on the City Council. She retired from General Motors Delco Remy working over 40 years. She worked as a teenager at Sherman's Jewelry.
Martha was a precinct committee person and very active in the Democratic party. She sat on the Civic Center Board for Middletown, the Historical Society and was active in the weekly senior citizens dinner. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Sixth Street Christian Church. Martha served as treasurer for the enterprise zone for the Norfleet expansion on State Road 236. She served on the Fall Creek Advisory board.
In addition to her parents Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E "Spider" Minnick; a daughter, Jeana Norris; 2 brothers, Kendall and Earl Lamb; and a grandchild Christopher Dennis.
Martha is survived by her sons, Greg (Colleen) Dennis and Jeff Minnick; 4 grandchildren, Raven Minnick, Matthew (Shannon)Dennis, Joshua (Candi) Norris and Chris Minnick; 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel with burial in Miller Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday August 12, 2022 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Town of Middletown, Middletown Fall Creek Historical Society, Middletown Civic Center or the Sixth Street Christian Church.
