Martha E. Jones

Muncie...Martha E. Jones, 91 formally of Sulphur Springs, passed away at The Woodlands Nursing Center in Muncie Thursday morning.She was born April 29, 1924 in Byrdstown, TN, the daughter of Ed and Lou Wilburn Logan.She retired from Brooks Foods in Mount Summit after 30 years of service. She enjoyed her family, gardening and word search puzzles.She is survived by her son: Paul (Becky) Jones of Daleville, a daughter: Patsy Ellen Jones of Muncie, and a sister: Rosie Bryant of Hartford City, grandchildren: Julie Fierce (Jeff), Jay Jones (Michelle); great grandchildren: Jacob and Jessica Fierce, Hayley and Holly Jones, Rebecca Jones and Sabrina Douglas; several nieces an nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Charlie F. Jones, grandson: John Paul Jones, brothers: Vallard Logan, Valver Logan, Ed Logan, and sisters: Versie Logan, Merle Logan and Erlzie Hooks.A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.Burial will follow in Tomlinson Cemetery near Muncie.Friends may call from noon until the time of the services on Saturday.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.comThe Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Martha with family and friends.
