Martha Retta Jones

Middletown...Martha Retta Jones, 91, resident of Middletown, passed away Wednesday at Miller's Merry Manor in Middletown.She was born in Middletown, November 4, 1915, the daughter of Merton and Treva Collins McMullen.She was a 1933 graduate of Middletown High School and attended the Middletown United Methodist Church.She was active in the D.A.R. and the Womens Club of Middletown.She had been librarian for the Middletown/Fall Creek Public Library for over 54 years.She is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Welky (Ed) of Indianapolis, Edlyn N. Jones of Indianapolis and Damita A. Jones (Gene Foster) of Middletown, grandchildren: Brett Dellinger and Dmitry Jones of Indianapolis and Angie Retz of Anderson, 4 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband William Edwin Jones in 1953.Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:30 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown with Rev.
