Markleville...Martha Eloise Smith Hodson, 83, loving and devoted mother and grandmother and resident of Markleville, passed away peacefully at her home on July 31, 2007 surrounded by her family.She was born in Middletown January 21, 1924 in Middletown, the daughter of Thomas and Elsie Lovett Smith.She was a 1942 graduate of Middletown High School and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and Pleasant Valley Christian Church.Survivors include seven children: Karen (Paul) Finke of Columbus, IN, Steven Hodson of Markleville, Jerry (Rhonda) Hodson of Middletown, JeanAnn Hodson of Markleville, Marsha Hodson and Kathleen (Phillip) Rhule of Deer Park, TX, and Kenny (special friend: Kathy Pardue) of Markleville, 18 grandchildren: Brian (Vina) Finke of New York City, Melanie Sanders of San Francisco, Donna (Mike) Quinton of Pendleton, Jamie Philip (Tonya) Hodson of Myerstown, PA, Jeremy (Kelly) Hodson of Hampton, VA, Jordan (Christy) Hodson of Kissemmee, FL, Justin Price Hodson of Deer Park, TX, Altovas Price of Washington, DC, Lillian Price of Washington, DC, Jacob Price of Deer Park, TX, Emily Rhule, Leslie Rhule of Deer Park, TX, Steven Matthew Hodson of Deer Park, TX, Jeremy William Bousman of Anderson, Justin (Amanda) Bousman of Lapel, Nicole Yapp of Middletown and Erica (Ryan) Looper of Anderson, 15 great grandchildren: Kooper Julius , Alden Quinton of Pendleton, Josia, Larissa, Amelia, Jonah, and Jeriah Hodson of PA, Alyssa and Jayden Hodson of VA, Ryan Drake and Madison Bousman of Lapel, Lily and Hannah Yapp of Middletown, Caleb and Austin Bousman of Anderson, In-Laws: Tom Furnish of Middletown, Bob (Betty) Hodson of Anderson, Dorthy Wright of Middletown, Gerald and Helen Hodson of New Castle.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: W. Kenneth Hodson in 1996, sister: Nellie Furnish and a special pet: Mollie.Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Mechanicsburg Cemetery with Rev. J.
