Martha Jean Fadely

Middletown...Martha Jean Fadely, 84, resident of Middltown, passed away Friday evening at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie.She was born in Middletown, the daughter of Elwood and Eva Lowrey Helsley.She was a 1943 graduate of the Sulphur Springs High School and retired in 2001 from the American Legion Post in Middletown.She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary.Survivors include one son: Steven (Vicki) Bixler of Muncie, several nieces , nephews and great nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters: Jeannette Hinkle, Mary Hale, and Virgina Ann Hall, and one brother: James Helsley.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.Friends may call from noon till the time of the services on Tuesday.Memorials to the MIddletown EMS, PO Box 1, Middletown, IN 47356.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
