Martha Painter Bradford

Muncie...Martha Painter Bradford, 96, resident of Westminster Village of Muncie, died at her residence after an extended illness.She was born in Henry County, June 16, 1908, the daughter of George E. and Dora Bowers Painter. She is a member of the Sixthe Street Christian Church of Middletown, and the Order of the Eastern Star #110 of Middletown. She had taught school for 23 1/2 years in Lebanon, Jay County, and Middletown where she had taught Art and Home Economics. She was a member of the Fall Creek Home Economics Club, the Womans Club of Middletown and the Psi Iota Xi Soroity as well as the Indiana State Teachers Associaition.She had been preceded in death by her husband Roscoe in 1964.Survivors includes nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev. Maynard Powell officiating.
