Daleville...Marta Diane (Calvert) Goodpaster, 70, resident of Daleville, passed away at Yorktown Healthcare after an extended illness.She was born in Muncie, March 14, 1945, the daughter of Leon and Marie Smith Calvert.She was a 1963 Daleville High School graduate and attended Ball State University.She had been Justice of the Peace for Salem Township, a job she dearly loved.She was a member of the Daleville United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Calvert, grandparents: Riley and Hester Calvert and Otto and Maggie Smith and a nephew: Allen Hahn.Survivors are her daughter: Sherri Carunchia (Mike) of Yorktown, Special friend: Pete Sczesny of Anderson, Father: Leon (Virginia) Calvert of Yorktown, brother: Brent Calvert (Cheri) of Fishers, 1 sister: Carolyn Futerell (Bob) of Yorktown, 3 grandchildren:Kurtis Yattaw of Muncie, Kyle Yattaw of Richmond, Kirsten Combs of Daleville, 3 step grandchildren: Michael Carunchia of Pleasant Lake, Nick Carunchia of Yorktown and Krystle Shockney of Garrett, great grandchildren: Waylon Scout Studebaker, Harper Yattaw and Kyla and Ryder Shockney, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.A celebration of Marta's life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut with Rev.
