Marsha Ann Gibson, 80, of Middletown passed away Friday August 18, 2023 at The Waters of Middletown. She was born on May 29, 1943 in Muncie to the late Robert and Marcella (Rutherford) Lowery.
She was a 1961 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School. Marsha retired from Unified Group Services in the Claims Processing Department. She was a long-time member of Sulphur Springs Christian Church. Marsha was an IU Basketball fanatic and enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel. She enjoyed being outdoors tending to her flowers. Marsha loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Marsha is survived by her children, Rhonda (Rich) Mousty and Scott (Pam) Gibson; grandchildren, Amanda, Michael, Mikka, Madison, Mollie, Nicholas and Sydney; eight great grandchildren; brother, Phil (Cindy) Lowery; along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Marsha is preceded in death by her siblings, Gerald Lowery, Michael Lowery, Ronald Lowery and Lisa Lane.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to long time friend and caregiver Bonnie White and to the staff of The Waters of Middletown and Gentiva Hospice.
A private burial will take place at Miller Cemetery.
