Marjorie Buring

Martinsville....Marjorie R. Buring, 97, former Middletown resident, passed away May 15, 2011 at Morgan Hospital in Martinsville.She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Rose Axe Smith, her husband: Francis L. Buring, brothers: Kenneth and G. Robert , and daughter: Patricia Johnson.Survivors include 2 sons: Michael (Linda) of Whitefield, MA and Steven (Susie) of Cordova TN, 2 daughters: Connie Springgs of Palm Springs, CA and Joyce Sanders (Emmons ""Rabbit"") of Columbus, IN.She was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church of New Castle and was an avid Gardener. She was a very talented artist and made many quilts for her children and 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.She was a charter member of Lets Grow Garden Club, Daughters of Issabella and a resident of Brown County Health Center.Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 13 at 1:00 PM at Miller Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the St. Meinard Archabby and Theological Seminar in Jasper, IN.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
