Marilyn Joan Sheets

Middletown...Marilyn Joan Sheets, 89, resident of Middletown, passed away July 28, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Henry County, December 21, 1928, the daughter of Charles and Rita Myers Wilhoit.  She was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School and received her certificate for Cosmetology.

She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Gene Sheets in 1972 and a grandchild: Amy Heuer in 1979.

She is survived by her children: Susan L. Heuer (John Mabbitt) of Muncie, Steve G. Sheets of Middletown, Scott R. Sheets (April Spitz) and Stan R. Sheets (Cindy) of Woodstock, GA, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother: Thomas S. Wilhoit., special friends, John Tunney.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Miller Cemetery with Pastor Marty Ballard officiating.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
