Gaston...Margaret Davisson Reno,68, longtime resident of Gaston, passed away unexpectedly at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie Saturday morning.She was born in Muncie, March 31, 1946, the daughter of Wayne and Dorothy Davisson.She was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and worked for over 35 years at Wes-Del Community Schools serving 30 years as the Librarian for the elementary school.She had attended the Corinth Christian Church and Muncie First Church of the Nazarene before attending the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene where she had been active in Sunday School and VBS.She had been involved in a committee for a Community Library in Gaston and loved to read, especially teaching and reading to children.She loved camping, dogs, quilting, crosswords, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.She was dedicated to her school and vocation and loved children.Survivors are her husband: Roger, of Gaston, 1 daughter: Alicia Vance of Gaston, 2 sons: Christopher Reno (Stephanie) of Muncie and Douglas Reno (Justin Reboulet) of Indianapolis, 4 grandchildren: Amber Vance, Heather Stanley, Evan and Emily Reno, 1 great grandchild: Tahjae Teague, 1 sister: Alicia Davisson of Las Vegas, NV.A Celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday at Muncie First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Marty Ballard and Pastor Brian Couch of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating.Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory in Muncie.Friends may call on Tuesday at Muncie First Church of the Nazarene from 4-8 PM.Memorials may be made to the Margaret Reno Wes- Del Elementary Library Fund in her honor.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com and Facebook/Ballard & Sons: Life Celebrations, Counseling, Funerals, Cremation.The Ballard family is honored to celebrate the life of Margaret Reno with family and friends.
