Muncie...Margaret May ""Chickie"" McDonald, 81, longtime Muncie area resident, passed away Sunday evening at Muncie Healthcare and Rehabilitation.She was born in Waltham, Mass, September 3, 1926, the daughter of Harold and Margaret Madden May.She had been a homemaker most of her life.She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church.Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: John M. McDonald,1 brother: Warren May and 1 son-in-law: Ewing Moore.Survivors include 1 son: James M. McDonald (Elizabeth) of Mooreland, 3 daughters: Beverly Rahe (Charlie) of McCordsville, Patricia Hudson (Darrell Clark) of Muncie, and Michele Glaze (Rick) of Muncie, 1 brother: Paul May (Janet) of Cape Cod, Mass, 2 sisters: Anne Ferguson of Cape Cod and Ruth May of Waltham, Mass, 7 grandchildren: Patrick McCreery (Kari) of Parker City, Marc McCreery (Lisa) of Cowan, Holly Hudson of Muncie, Krista McDonald and Abby Willis (Chris) of Muncie, Matthew Moore (Meagan) and Hunter Glaze of Muncie, 7 great grandchildren: Taylor, Olivia, Mayce, and Brayde McCreery and Audrey and Caleb Smith, and Jalynn Willis.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, IN, with Charlie Centers officiating.Burial will follow at a later date at Miller Cemetery in Middletown.Friends may call on Wednesday from noon until the time of the services at the funeal home.Online Guestbook at: www.ballardandsons.com
