Middletown...Margaret Huser Kennedy, 91, resident of Middletown passed away June 3, 2007 at Bethany Pointe convalescent Center in Anderson.She was born in Leavenworth, KS on January 12, 1916, the daughter of Walter and Lola (McDaniel) Huser. She moved to Middletown at a very young age after her father retired from the military.She graduated from Middletown High School in 1933 and married James W. Kennedy on December 18, 1937.She belongs to the Sulphur Springs Christian Church, Sulphur Springs Home Ec. Club and attended BSF Bible study for many years in New Castle. She loved to cook, garden, she could grow anything, and loved to read and be with her friends and family.She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years: James of Middletown, 1 daughter: Sharon (Mike) Cookman of Anderson, sons: Gary (Treva) Kennedy and DAvid (Kathy) Kennedy of Muncie, 3 sister-in-laws: Bonnie Harrell of Indianapolis, Judy Huser of Middletown, and Doris Kennedy of Chicago, seven grandchildren: Kevin and Michelle Cookman, Chad and Lanny Kennedy, Lori Beth Knox, Kyle Kennedy, and Jeremy Mohler, 5 great grandchildren: Kameron and Allison Kennedy, Forrest and Molly Cookman, and Shaylee Kennedy, many nieces and nephews and dear cousins: Kate Imel and Paul McDaniel.She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers: Walt and Jim Huser and a granddaughter: Yvette Kennedy.The family would like to thank all those who have been so kind to her the last few months. A special thank you to Middletown EMS, St. John's ER, 5th and 6th floor staff, Dr. Harp, Dr. Dewar, Dr. Shick, the entire staff at Bethany Pointe, Mary Miller and her family and Pam Fadley. We can never tell you how much your kindness has meant to Margaret and to us.Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown.
