Sulphur Springs...Margaret Ellen (Gregory) Butterfield, 80, resident of Sulphur Springs, passed away at St. John Medical Center in Anderson, July 23, 2008.She was born March 15, 1928 in Oregon City, OR.She was co-founder of Butterfield's Furniture in New Castle.She moved to Sulphur Springs from Arizona four years ago.She worked in finance in San Francisco and in Phoenix for several years.She was steadfast in furthering the music and mission of the church.Survivors include children: Vicki Carter of Oakland, CA, Candie Thompson (David) of Wadsworth, Ohio, Robert ""Barry"" (Beth) Butterfield of Sulphur Springs, and Connie Donnell (Fred) of New Castle, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 9, grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lewis Butterfield in 1982, her parents: Rev. A. P. and Pearl Gregory, and a sister: Wilma Waterbury.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3:00 PM at Maple Grove Church of God in Anderson with Rev. Daniel Kihm and Dr. David Sebastian officiating.Friend may call at the church from 1-3 on Friday.Memorial contributions may be made to Missions: c/o Maple Grove Church of God.Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel.Services in Glendale Arizona will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Westside Church of God with Pastor Jerry Dickinson officiating.Friends may call at the church from noon until the time of the services.Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am at Mountain View Memorial Gardens near Mesa, AzOnline Guestbook at:
