Marga (Beck) Worley of 288 East High Middletown passed away May 6, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 26, 1927 in Frankfurt, Germany to Hans Christian Beck and Maria Beck she spent her childhood and formative years in Germany. Growing up she was faced with many of the hardships and adversities of World War II. Including numerous bombings, air raids and seeking shelter while living with the nuns. Shortly after the end of world war II she married an American soldier and started a family. In October 1952 she and her new family migrated to United States. Not having any formal english education she taught herself how to read, speak and write english and proudly obtained her United States citizenship. Her early years in the United States were spent working in local industries in and around Middletown. However, most of her life was spent as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In later years she worked at the Middletown Nursing Home.Marga was an active member of her church and was blessed to have had Roger and Chiquita as her caregivers over the last several months. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, husband William H. Worley and son-in-law Troy Price.Those left to cherish her memories are sons Robert (Cathy) Worley, Roger ( Chiquita) Worley, daughter Jane Price, grandchildren Amy (Michael) Diggs, Abby (Albert) Bryant, Trey (Shadan) Price, Ashley (John) Gardner, and Austin Worley. Great Grandchildren Gavin Diggs, Emily Diggs, Zoe Bryant, Charlie Bryant and Ashtin Worley.The family will hold a private graveside ceremony. SERVICES Private Saturday, May 13, 2017 TBD
