Marcia Kay Clingerman

Marcia Kay (Land) Clingerman, 72, passed away August 1, 2022 at Community Hospital of Anderson, following an extended illness. She was born on May 19, 1950 to the daughter of Joseph and Juanita Land.
Marcia was a graduate of Shenandoah High School and went on to receive her nursing degree from Anderson College. She worked at Ball Memorial Hospital, several nursing homes and retired from Middletown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was a lifetime member of the VFW of Anderson and the American Legion of Middletown. She was also an avid crocheter. She loved spending time with her family, friends and special furry buddy Rusty.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Joe Clingerman, whom she married March 8, 1970; children, Ron (Jenn) Clingerman, Robert (Shannon) Clingerman; 9 grandchildren, Curtis and Josh Garrison, Shelby Snyder, Dylan Trent, Evan and Ali Clingerman, Bobbi Lee and Randy and Amy Clingerman; along with several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded in death by her daughters, Sherry Poulson and Laurie Willhoite; granddaughter, Amanda Clingerman; and great granddaughter, Cora Clingerman.
A graveside service will be held at Miller Cemetery on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard and Sons Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to the ASPCA.
