Yorktown...Mabel L. Reedy, 89, resident of Yorktown, passed away at the Waters, after an extended illness. Before moving to Yorktown, she had lived in Middletown most of her life.She was born in Markleville, June 29, 1922, the daughter of Russell and Ruth Williams Keesling.She had worked as a homemaker and a bank teller at Farmers State Bank in Middletown.She was a 1940 graduate of Markleville High School, member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Middletown and Middletown United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Dennis O. Reedy in 1998, sister; Helen Craig, and a brother: Tony Keesling.Survivors include 3 sons: Larry (Sharon) Reedy of Middletown, Dr. Richard (Denise) Reddy of Muncie and Dennis Reedy of Middletown, 1 sister: Noira Harris of Anderson and 1 brother: Joseph Keesling of Pendleton, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieves and nephews.Memorial services will be Saturday at Noon at Ballard and Sons Fuenral Home, 118 South 5th Street, Middletown with Rev. Marty Ballad of the Yorktown Church of the Nazarene officiating as well as Eastern Star memorial services.The family has chosen cremtion.Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the services.Burial of ashes will be held at a later date at Miller Cemtery in Middletown.
