M. Catherine Kiefer

Muncie...M.Catherine Kiefer, 86, former Daleville area resident, died November 14, 2003 at Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.She was born in Daleville, January 14, 1917, the daughter of Samuel and Margaret Schlegel Orerbaugh. She had been a homemaker all of her life and was a 1933 graduate of Daleville High School.She was a member of the Community Club, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Ladies Aid, Daleville area Home Economics Club, Farm Bureau, and Trinity Community Church.Survivors include: one son; John Michael (Trula) Kiefer of Daleville, 2 daughters: Margaret Jean (Carl) Anthes of Stirling Heights, MI. and Donna Kay (John) Pugsley of Daleville, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, 1 brother: Ed Orebaugh of Daleville.She was preceded in death by her husband: John Alfred Kiefer in 1993, her parents, and two brothers: Merrill and Charles Orebaugh.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:00 am at the Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 South Walnut St, Daleville, with Pastor Paul Pletcher and Jack Warren officiating.Buiral will follow in Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Daleville.Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinsons Association.Online Guestbook available at: www.ballardandsons.com
