Middletown...Lydia (Wells) Oliver, 89, resident of Middletown, passed away on Monday morning at Middletown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.She was born in Powell County, KY, August 10, 1916, the daughter of Melvin and Dollie Barnett Green Wells.She had been a homemaker all of her life.She moved to Middletown in 1953 and was a member of the Middletown Church of the Nazarene.She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Burnis Oliver in 1994.Survivors include one daughter: Mary (Richard) Vannatter of Middletown, 2 grandchildren: Scott Vannatter and Darci Hill of Middletown, 3 great grandchildren: Adrienne Hill of Middletown, Aarika Vannatter of Beech Grove and Aaron Vannatter of Indianapolis, 2 sisters: Emma Yarger of Independence, KY and Beatrice Begley of Lexington, KY, 1 brother: Harley Wells of Clay City, KY, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 South 5th, Middletown, with Rev. David Whitteberry and Dr. Philip C.
